But, in the way of these things, it does have one person who really caught my attention - over and above Simon Callow, Alan Cumming and Jason Connery, as it happens - a young lad called Maxi Moffat, who plays, um. Well, he acts like Oscar Wilde. It's fairly obvious who he is, I think, but some bits of plot were lost to me squeaking "My god, he's so cool! He's so cool! Wow!" so I could yet be wrong. ~s~ He's just. so cool. I have to watch this again. He rocks. ~s~
Also, it is very very very cold. This is mostly good as it reminds me we are heading for winter, via Hallowe'en and Bonfire Night, but nevertheless, it makes it sort of hard to do anything.
Edit : While I'm here, I'll ask again, since I think it's been at least six months since I last asked...
Does anyone remember a children's television series from the early 90s which centred around a clock, in the shape of a man (IIRC dressed in mask, top hat and tails, or similar) that was based in a shopping mall? Children would use it to, presumably, save the world by time travelling - I can't remember - and were aided by a young woman. The whole show may have been Australian, I'm not sure - it was around the same time as a lot of kids TV shows that came over from there, like The Girl From Tomorrow and Ship To Shore.
Please, please, can anyone help? It's the only show I've not yet managed to track down...
