Never Felt As Good

kinkysweetheart directed me today at a page of MP3s under the largely arbitrary heading of 'Romo' (effectively what came between synthpop and electroclash) and in amongst its listed bands, which somewhat oddly includes Add N To (x) and My Life Story (industrial and very indie, respectively) sat the name Belvedere Kane. It took me a while to remember why this was significant, and then suddenly I realised - this is the band I've been trying to track down since 1996, when they were featured in Top Of The Pops magazine with their single 'Never Felt As Good'. The lead singer was (and remains) one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen.
I'm glad someone else knows who they are.

Anyway, off to meet asrana now. (best friends)++
