The music was actually not all that good, or rather, the main floor wasn't all that good - it went extremely bleepy after a while, so I wandered upstairs to find gorgeous trad goth being played - on the floor with a dancing area the size of a small table. Not ideal. But it afforded me time to talk to some of the people there, which was good - spent a long while talking to naranek about life, the universe and humans, and confiding in zellah about my adoration for a man I'd entirely failed to notice was sitting two seats away. Apparently he knows kitty_goth. Heigh ho.
There was also a robinbloke (bounce bounce bounce) and a briggsy and a blackmetalbaz and an eviltwinemma (bounce squeek bounce) and a faerierhona and a zenmeisterin and lots and lots of people that I know through stalking. Oh, and once again failed to introduce myself to delomelas (as one of the, what, two? people on his Friends list he's never met) in case the response I got was "...yes, and?"
Learned some things, none of them welcome. Watched some people, all of them beautiful. Stunning little thing in a glowy shirt and gauntlets dancing for hours, makeup running down his face - looked rather like stevenothing's Mini-me would look. And the aforementioned Stunning Goth friend of Kitty's. He makes my head hurt. I managed not to actually tell him how pretty he is this time round though.
Sorry, I know I'm rambling - I think it's in place of being tired. I haven't slept but I don't feel in the least bit tired, although I'm very aware that I must sleep because I have a long weekend ahead of me tomorrow. And I will sleep, but I have to write something dodgy and unconvincing first. It's all zellah's fault.
