So I went to my singing lesson, and I came out, on the way meeting a lovely kid I went to prep school with whom I haven't seen for a few years. And then I get to Moorgate, and it's closed.
So are all the other nearby stations. I walk, for a while, in the cold, and the snow, and then my dad calls. He's stuck in London without a car, too. So he can't get to me and help.
~shrugs~ I was fine, I went to MacDonalds, got warm, walked to Bank which had opened by then, and I got back here, eventually. But I'm cold and bedraggled and miserable.


But the MacDonald's radio was playing 'Nothing Ever Happens' by Del Amitri, which made me think of childeric and smile.
