While we were in HMV the radio played a succession of Really Good Songs - starting with 'Danger High Voltage' by Electric 6 (~hugs grahamb~) and continuing through 'Seventeen' by Ladytron, 'Lose Yourself' by Eminem, and...but what is this? Surely - surely - it can't be another incredibly good and different-to-everything-else track by The Music? Oh yes, it can.
So I will be buying their album. And I will also be buying the other thing that caught my eye - yes, a Human League tribute album. Wow. ~thud~
Later : Oh, christ. What I just said about B-Movie? Just read my Friends page, and. Forget I said it. I mean, I'll still go, but, oh, hell.
Please everyone who's going who I know just keep a lookout for me and if I'm looking distraught, come over and make me dance or something. 'Cause, otherwise, it could be an impressive disaster. Thanks. xxx
After HMV and stuff, I went to Milton Keynes to see dennyd, which was fun (as always) and interesting (as always) and a little frightening (as usual) and good, generally (as rarely). And we watched The Princess Bride. Yay! ~giggles~ Silly film. And there was music, and dressing up, and it was fun.
Almost a girls' night in, really. ~s~
And dj_pooka finished the story he was writing for me, and, oh. It's. So. Perfect. ~cries~
I only have one complaint, and that's that
Thank you, love. You work magic with your words. And I can't wait to see you.
Mike's great. The end.
