Gother than thou. Or anyone.

One day, I'll be well again.

Today I am ill. Scary, shaky, fainting fit ill - again. I am tired of this.

Oh, well. Dodgy Darkness vampire fic coming your way later nonetheless. ~g~

In case anyone missed my posts at the weekend, I would like to reiterate the importance of everyone in the world listening to a) The Bravery, and b) Gavin Friday. The first is like Duran Duran meeting Suede in the recording studio and having one hell of an angst-ridden party; the second is responsible for some of the best music I have ever heard. Do as you're told.

Chapter III : The dark streets of East Anglia

Further to last week's posts of horror, nannyo asked me for a filleting of the Darkness-inspired vampire fic (from, of course, the same girl). I therefore present it for you - but I feel that, somehow, I'm doing the world a disfavour by focusing so much on just this one girl when there's so much other toss out there. I therefore give you the 'books' section of Fanfiction.net (where the stupid comes from). If you're enjoying all this, please choose a fandom and I shall dive in and scathe. ~g~

If you're at home crying "Please, please stop this, it hurts", do tell me. I know I could be the only one deriving any amusement from this.

Still NSFW. But much shorter, this time.

Oh, and my favourite stray line from one of her other, very short fics :
"Dan was attracted to him. He was gorgeous and warm. Well, actually cold."

I'll get around to this eventually

A comment on someone else's journal has reminded me I need to rant about music again. Specifically, I need to rant about the Libertines as was (rather than now), and about Marilyn Manson and the way people perceive him. (These two things are not connected. Obviously. I hope.)

I'm sure there were other things. I know 'Angels' by Robbie Williams was one, but it's really too late for that now. Hmm.
Maybe G4 deserve a special rant of their own. ~g~
