Have just watched repeat of Channel 5's 'Most Shocking Celebrity Moments Of 2004'. (Shush, I was cross stitching, needed something on while I did so.) Have come away with (temporary, obviously, but nevertheless alarming) crushes on Leslie Grantham, Victor from Big Brother, and, most fantastically worryingly, Wayne Rooney and David Beckham. Look, can someone come round and, I don't know, readjust the settings in my head or something? It's deeply unsettling from here, believe me.
This post is going to come back to haunt me, isn't it?
1. Comment with any subject that you would like me to rant on, with possible swearing. [Something I know anything about might be useful, but actually, pretty much anything will do.]
2. Watch my journal for your rant.
3. Post this in your own journal, so that you may rant for others.
You needn't, but it'll get you more content out of me than you would otherwise get over the next few days - it's all very grey and uninteresting over here at the moment.
I would like to have a little one of my own, which is to say that the world is absolutely bloody unfair and I don't care that life is supposed to be unfair, it's still not fair and I would like a break really, really soon so I don't just damn well give up entirely.
Still, went through HMV out of desperation tonight and bought Gangster No.1 for more Paul Bettany goodness (with added Malcolm McDowell and, y'know, suits), and spoiled myself at Tesco as well, so it's probably not all bad. It just feels like it.
Have no fear, though, rants on many of the subjects you've proposed coming up tomorrow. When I feel, um. Less like ranting. ~g~
So, so far that's The Krays and Gangster No. 1 that I've actually had to turn off less than halfway through because I couldn't cope. ~grin~ I still haven't finished The Krays, but then, it doesn't have Paul Bettany in and is therefore less urgent. But still.
Broken now. Actually I suspect the migraine I have probably doesn't make these things any easier to watch.
That there is one excellent actor, though.
Edit : Someone is having a laugh. Seems American Psycho is on in the best part of an hour. Oh well, there goes my resolve to get an early night.
