(I've tried patience)

Good things :

* asrana is wonderful, and looked after me tonight, and gave me Garfield books, and I love her very very much.

* zellah is, by turns, filthy, fantastic, talented, hysterical, very silly, and the Queen of All She Surveys. She's also turned something I wrote into an absolute work of art, and in the process given me the chronic giggles an awful, awful lot.

* While all this was going on I have been playing 'Hot Fuss' by The Killers and it's growing and growing on me. It's going to become one of those albums that makes me smile whenever I listen to it. The songs get more beautiful and brilliant with every listen.

Sleep now, though. So much silliness tonight! "The Boy With The Enigmatic Erection" indeed...

(no subject)

I did mention how much zellah rocks, right? We wrote something together and I just can't stop rereading it. It's so gorgeous. ~shakes head~ I have to leave for a singing lesson fairly soon and I'd have to print it out and take it with me if my printer weren't irretrievably broken. ~sigh~ If I seem a little overexcited I blame the fact that I will be in the presence of some really insanely beautiful people tomorrow and you know what that kind of thing does to me. ~grin~

Anyway. Yes. How are you today?

Bought the Evening Standard today...

...for its free CD (I'll let you know), and discover from their what's on magazine that The Faint are playing in Islington next Wednesday - which is where I'll be unless there's a *very* good reason for me not to be. The Faint are a fantastic bunch of arty synth-rock types and I'm bouncing a lot at the chance to see them live - I haven't heard their music in much too long (they surfaced and disappeared very quickly two years ago - we're still not sure why).

Yay! (Arty synth-rock)++
