(I've tried patience)

"Maybe I'm just a rose of sheer perfection..."

Or, maybe not. But I did have a gorgeous, gorgeous evening with adjectivemarcus yesterday - just blissful. Watched afearing films in which Ben Kingsley swears a lot, and listened to afearing music in which the Wurzels swear a bit, and all that kind of thing. And stuff. It was good.

And today I had a beautiful morning sitting watching birds on the lake at St James's Park and finishing the new Clive Barker fantasy book (which is very good indeed), and then wandering over to meet kneeshooter for the first time. He is so lovely that I can find no words to describe how lovely he is, so you'll have to put up with incoherence instead. ~s~

It's been a good couple of days. I'm getting there. And dennyd has a job, which is the best. news. ever.
I love a lot of you very much indeed. I'm sure you know this, but I like saying it anyway.

(I've tried patience)

Ever so slightly snowed under.

It really does feel as though I have too much to deal with at the moment, and I'm shirking a lot of practical responsibilities because I feel thoroughly depressed whenever I'm on my own and therefore incapable of actually getting myself together enough to do any of the things I know I should be doing. ~sigh~ Ah well. Alone tomorrow, so perhaps I'll actually get something done.

Very happy in company, though, and the weekend at least is shaping up to have a certain amount of that. Which is good.

I would like to be tired now, but I can't seem to manage it. Oh well, Civ II it is then.
