(I've tried patience)

Mewp!

rathenar is a bad bad woman and has left all number of distracting bits and pieces in my head. Oh well, it's not as if I had anything else to do but sit around contemplating albino incest and centuries-old renegade priests, but nevertheless, multiple thud this early in the morning? My poor kittenheart can't take it. ~g~

Well, ok, it can.

Trying to think of something happy to tell spikeylady but I'm not sure if posting MatrixTwins fanfic in her journal would actually cheer her up or not...~grin~

~mwah~ to all concerned. I love lots of people this morning.

Music

(no subject)

Two weeks ago I spent a whole day on Google trying to track down one song used in a fashion show my school held ages ago that I didn't remember much about but knew I'd loved. I searched and searched and searched, trying everything I could possibly remember. Nothing.

hatter burned me a copy of the Cruel Intentions soundtrack. Just stuck it in on random play, four good songs went past, and suddenly, there it was. I had no idea it was on this - and I've borrowed the Cruel Intentions soundtrack off people before, so whatever it's actually called must look sufficiently uninteresting for me not to have bothered playing it.

Meep. Wow. Music. Happy now.

Later : Time to look up the track listing. Whatever *this* is that's playing now is heartstopping, and I've not heard it before, either. Oh god it's beautiful. Oh, oh god. ~passes out~

Thank you, hatter. You have just improved my day by a factor of ten, and it was already pretty good. ~s~

'Colorblind', Counting Crows - which it wasn't, obviously.
Music

Music (pretty) and music (very very silly).

Thanks to tacohell for drawing my attention to this. It's pretty.
I can't, though, get my head round anyone ascribing 'Go Wild In The Country' to the dark side of, well, anything, really. Nor 'Prime Mover', to be honest. To say nothing - absolutely nothing - of including 'There She Goes' on this compilation.
See? I said nothing. Well done me. ~grits teeth~
Oh, I see Billy Bragg's bizarrely leaped on there as well. More for me to say nothing about. ~g~

But it's pretty, so I suspect I'll be getting hold of it. If only they brought these things out on video or DVD.

And as for the very very silly? Beta's challenge this week is truly a place of wonders. And terrible puns.
