I can fly!

Er, earth calling my subconscious?

Last night I had one of the weirdest dreams ever which I would like to chronicle here because it's so bizarre I can't quite believe I dreamed it. Collapse )

Better even than the emergency mustard bees, I think you'll find.

I would also like to point out that my seeing reddragdiva at the Dev last night was a life-changing event; that nothing in my life has given me such pleasure as coming in out of the rain, tired and bedraggled, and being warmed by his very presence. Truly, he is a prince among men, and my life was brighter for briefly inhabiting the aura of greatness he brings with him wherever he goes.
Happy now?

Have cut the angsty post 'cause I was doing the cryptic thing again and it only worries people. Silly kitten. ~kicks self~

And also 'cause I just got a call from dj_pooka, who's lovely and cheered me up. And, less than two weeks! And, god but he's got a gorgeous voice. ~thud~

So, sorry for the angst. ~mwah~ Love you all, I do really.

Insightful bastard characters.

...no. If I write what he said, I'll get panicked e-mails.

I hate this guy. I mean, I love him, and he's beautiful, and he's always right, but he treats his lover like nothing else I've ever seen (I find their relationship dynamics fascinating while thanking several gods that I've never fallen into anything similar) and sometimes I wish he would just *shut up*.

And not present me with harsh truths in his deceptively soft Irish voice, damn it.

In other news, what on earth has been happening in Hollyoaks since I last watched it?! I don't suppose anyone can help...?

And, regarding a friend - I use the term "friend" laughingly here since I tend to use it to mean "someone who means a lot to me and who I'll make time to see" and I'm clearly wrong in my usage of it - the Sisters have the lyrics :
"I got nothing to say I ain't said before,
I've bled all I can, I won't bleed no more..."

I just had to abandon Shooting Stars on TV - much as I adore Will Self, it really is amazing how much Vic & Bob don't belong in this decade, isn't it?

Just before I gave up, Vic & Bob asked Johnny Vegas "What's your favourite kind of shop?" and he replied "I like charity shops, 'cause they mean I can buy clohes that belonged to other people, and make my own memories."

I don't really have anything to say about that, but it made me smile, in a sad sort of way. Much of Johnny Vegas's humour is in the same vein, and it's why I can't watch him for too long.

And, note to self : The irrational response that's currently making you want to scream, cry, and cut all links with all your other friends just to save your link with one is irrational and should not be listened to.
Oh, ok, you can do the crying bit. But the rest is right out, ok?
Good.

~sigh~ Well. Anyway. Sleep now, 'cause I have to be up early. To work with small kids. Why am I doing this? Oh, yes, 'cause they pay me. Still, though. Ick.
