(I've tried patience)

Meh. Morning.

Well, after having to pull myself together last night, I did manage to get some sleep. And a phonecall from my dear partner in non-stop violence made me feel, if not exactly better, slightly more able to face the world. ~blows kisses~

Currently furious with a dash of cynical, but I'll live, and thanks to the wonderful laws of distance, so will everyone else. ~s~ Can't do any serious damage from all the way down here.

Anyway. Today is sitting around waiting for cleaning lady to show, before possibly trying to write - my dad's been making noises about a women's writing competition he wants me to enter. I know I wouldn't win but I haven't written anything except bad goth poetry in far too long...

I think I shall base it on real recent events in my life, and yes, it will probably get thrown out because it isn't realistic enough...

Also, I want this so, so much. So. Wow.
And. Badges!... ~sigh~ Want.

I can fly!

Gah.

The insanity that is going to be people mending our not-particularly-broken roof, and those of our neighbours, began recently and today it was my house's turn to get bashed into shape as they ram scaffolding into places scaffolding should never be rammed. It is very noisy. The only good thing is that I can currently play music as loud as I like because the neighbours won't be able to hear it over the metal & hammers. ~s~

But it does mean I can't sleep any more, so, stalking it is. ~grin~

I hope everyone else involved in this mess realises they're overreacting just as much as I am.

(no subject)

Outside, the builders are singing 'The Wheels On The Bus'. Really.

Inside, I'm listening to Leaether Strip's Soft Cell tribute & being fascinated by the things he does with harmony.

~sigh~ Nothing for it. Back to bed. Too damn miserable to face rest of day.

I can remember my ex-girlfriend talking to me about something, and I wasn't listening, and she came up and took my hand and looked up at me and said "Care...please care?" It's not the kind of thing you forget and I feel like that now.
