(I've tried patience)

Wondering...

...if I get to meet you, too.
...what the heck my exam tomorrow is on.
...how I'm going to manage to find my grandmother a birthday present.
...why Sally is still doing English. (Re The Color Purple last week in English : "But maybe the author just isn't educated enough to write any better...")
...why Puddle Of Mudd. Just why. ~g~
...what to do with myself for the next hour.

Although...

...why the hell I'm reading this in the middle of the day when I've got to think later is beyond me.

Last pointless post. I swear. I'm sorry.

Q!

Member of House Staff (who shall remain nameless) : "-gasp- Emily, you're not thinking of meeting that - it is a man, isn't it? You've got to be careful with people on the internet, you know...he could be involved in some kind of dreadful cult - or worse!"
Em : "......"

I really can't believe that people still talk like that. ~g~ Wonderful.

...unrelated to all ~waves hands~ this.

I was over at one of my good friends' houses on Saturday, and she'd been reading over a poetry book I made her two years ago. For some months now I've been trying to remember a musical setting I wrote, a setting of one of the poems that was in this book. In seeing the words the whole thing came back to me and I couldn't believe I'd forgotten it; it's one of my favourite poems, has been for years now, but it had gone completely out of my head. I'm so glad to have it back. If you don't know it, you should...

My setting of it is now running round my head.

Last post, but it matters!

I don't suppose for a moment anyone tried to call me this evening at just-after-seven, did they? I have a missed call from a number I've never seen before, but it was a London number so I can't imagine it was any of you...unless you are in London tonight for some obscure reason...

Anyway. ~kisses~ Night all.
