Oh....Twi wrote an XFFic "in which Krycek compares Mulder to a Duran Duran lyric"...~loves Twi~
She also wrote VC fanfic and it's *still there*, a real novelty in this day and age where it's practically illegal. I've *missed* VC fanfic. It was one of those fandoms that really went with me.
I'd forgotten how much I loved the word "archly". ~ggls~ Nice and random for you.
~thinks about Nick-at-fifteen and "Will You" by Hazel O'Connor and wishes they'd been released at the same time~
Hmm. Must get writing sometime.
I really don't like it when people say "I should be excused from all my responsibilities because I have clinical depression and have a drink problem". Yes, I've waved the clinical depression flag a couple of times, but I haven't *ever* used it to try and get out of anything I was supposed to be doing. (Occasionally I haven't done something because of it, but I've never thought of it as an acceptable excuse and never tried to use it as such.)
Gah. So many kids have depression these days it barely warrants a half-hour off games. As for alcohol abuse, that, my sweet, is your problem and your silly fault and.....*grr*.
~shakes head~ "I take drugs every five minutes - at least I think I do, I can never really remember what's going on from one day to the next. Oh, and I can't live without alcohol. Hahahaha." ~shakes head again~ "Everyone owes me a living because I've been suffering from depression for, like, *ages*, goth goth goth goth whinge whinge goth goth whinge." ~shakes head AGAIN~ "Killing small things is fun."
....you have some weird friends.
Amazon.co.uk is so much fun. I could spend hours there.
See, I tried the other day to make a list of all the albums I still wanted. (Yes. Well, precisely.) And I thought I'd wander over to Amazon now - since I have a spare hour - and type in the first of these and just jump from recommendation to recommendation and see how much I came up with. For an hour. No, you don't have to read it - I'm just very *very* bored. Witness :

I must say it's seriously gratifying to learn that there simply *is* no CD of Duran's on amazon that I don't own; still, I wish there was a B-sides collection.
Well....that took up some time...~yawns~ I wish I could *sleep*, I'm so tired and feel so ill but I can't sleep 'cause I'm so stuffed up. Gah.
Mrs. Huang's having another baby! Yay!
Although it means we won't see her much this year...which is a sad thing. But still, I'm so happy for her. I'm going to make a card for her this weekend with little pictures of the Durans and their Duranlings, to say congratulations...
