We are going to be *very* warm and fuzzy today. For two reasons.
1, I awoke very slowly this morning, tried to stretch, and found that I couldn't, since I was completely wrapped up in duvet and Draco. Utterly entwined with someone is a very nice way to wake up, and it always makes me very happy.
2, Val just wrote me - at least, I assume she meant me, and I hope she did - the most incredibly beautiful story snippet, and I read it and cried and it is just....oh. When people write things for me...oh, and it's just...it's *them* and it's *now* and oh god *please* let it be real. ~s~ Damn idealist that I am.
And asrana rang last night and it was wonderful and ~cuddles asrana~ and...~sigh~...and I was Nick again. For a short time, and I don't think they're, like, *back* back yet, but...hey. At least I know they haven't abandoned me.
I wonder why I can RP Duran like a dream, but can't ever actually write any decent fanfic. Curiouser and curiouser.
....he set fire to his parents' bedroom. ~cracks up~ That always gets me.
And in the Real World, never mind everyone else going "Oh, yah, I've met them loads of times...~yawn~"...he *grinned* at me, dammit, and there is just no way of expressing the utter effervescent dancing-on-stars joy that still gives me.
I'm seventeen. I'm crazy about them. They make music that makes me laugh and dance and cry and happy. Dear god, that's the way it's supposed to be.
~bashes head against wall repeatedly~
Ever heard of an 'aphrhodesiac'?
~bashes head against brick wall MORE~
My brain is sauteed, dammit!
~waves exhaustedly~ Oh, dear.
I walked back from the Marina this evening because the study were too lazy to answer the phone, from which I was going to ask them to order me a taxi back, and because yes, I would rather walk scared to death on a route I've never taken before for half an hour than phone a taxi company and risk getting it wrong and being laughed at. And there's been other stress, but somehow, like usual, it's just not important enough - although it's been a big thing in my life - to get written about in here.
The upshot of all this is that I've a fucking awful tension headache. But...
I've started making more tapes for asrana. I *love* making people tapes. I really, really love it. ~happysigh~
Also, while I was in Asda I was looking around and I saw that the AllSTARS single is out! So I bought it! With the *rockin'* cover of ITSISK? on it! It's brilliant.
Also, I bought All Saints' last album because I'd been thinking this morning that I wished I could hear Black Coffee again and then I found the album in the bargain bin. ~s~ "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here...I wouldn't want to change...anything at all...I wouldn't want to take everything out on you...though I know I do...every time I fall..." It was...~sigh~ It was Nick and John's song when I first started RPing them properly. And I love it.
Also, a metal (kinda) band called Fear The Clown covered Come Undone and, though all the words are wrong (sigh), the cover is *fabulous*. Um. Sort of.
Also, I was recording stuff off May's CDs and found "Black Cloud" by Crazytown, they who did that interesting song "Butterfly". It's *beautiful*. So hey.
And tonight I may get to record "She Dreams In Digital" by Orgy.
And I just recorded "New Life" by Depeche Mode for asrana. It's such a fantastic, gloriously silly pop song...always makes me smile and bop around, even in my be-headached state.
...you don't half see some strange people in Asda of a Friday night.
Strange Bloke #1 : Seemed to be a passing Admiral. Was wearing a long blue coat with epaulettes and such. Had long blond/brown hair tied in a high ponytail. Was really very attractive.
Strange Bloke #2 : Was wearing leggings and a corset. Would have thought he was a woman if it hadn't been for the moustache. Looked like a bonkers struggling artist; would have been beautiful but was a bit too greasy-looking.
Strange Bloke #3 : I turned round to find this one staring at me, which would have been unnerving under any circumstances but, had the sun not been out, I would have sworn he was Santino from the Vampire Chronicles. Mamma! He had a long black coat, black trousers, black poet shirt, a mass of black hair similar to Armand's but blacker-than-black and not so curly, and *huge* - I mean huge - black boots. He was....interesting. I'd probably have gone over to speak to him if I hadn't been panicking so much about how I was going to get back to school.
Oh, and I bought - wait for it - more nail varnish. ~ggls~ Revlon "Manic" (interesting combination of greens and shimmers) and "Zeitgeist", which is not only a great name but a great nail varnish the colour of oil slicks on the ground.
Tee hee hee.
