(I've tried patience)

People are strange....

I really do *not* know why you think I'm jealous of you...that was an extraordinary comment of yours. (Not to mention arrogant, but then, that pretty much goes without saying when talking about you.) I can't think of a reason I'd be jealous of you - other than that you've finally found a man, and if *that's* what you think I'm jealous of, you've really got me all wrong.

Secondly, I *did* once say I wanted to kill him....I just remembered that...which was an extraordinary comment from *me*. Could we all just accept that my feelings towards him are seriously weird and aren't going to sort themselves out for a while? And then I'll stop saying anything about him and all his knights in white satin can stop sending me hate mail.

And now back to what I actually *wanted* to say...

I'm so tired. God, I'm SO tired. ~g~ I stayed up all night watching TV, so that's probably why. I'd like to be able to say that I have something better to do than sit up at three in the morning watching Bis-wannabes Ciccone singing "Leggit It's The Rozzers", or Billy Idol screaming into the camera while his kitchen explodes behind him.

But I don't. ~g~ Not on weekends, anyway.

I really miss Nick & John. ~muses~ They disappeared about when asrana left my house and I haven't seen them since...except that Nick turned up last night to leave a comment in my journal. ~shrug~ Weird boy that he is.

Oh! And I forgot to say! I saw the film Draco *move* yesterday! ~swoon~ Although I didn't hear him, because the trailer was just showing on the TV in Virgin and that plays without sound. But....but....*oh*. November! November! I can wait that long, honest I can!

I keep seeing AllSTARS on Music TV doing "Things Go Bump In The Night"'s just *so* cool, it's brilliant. The two boys have, like, nothing at ALL to do...~ggls~...they're reduced to echoing the girls' lines and then one of them gets to sing "They go bump, they go bump, they go bump, they go" in a very Justin-from-'NSync kind of voice, and...oh, it's just *funny*.

~laughs~ Last night we were all watching, and...what was it that came on? ~thinks~ Oh, of course! It was "Wicked Game" by Chris Isaak. And it was SO Jewel...~g~ "What a wicked game you play, to make me feel this way...what a wicked thing to do, to let me dream of you..." Well, maybe you had to be there. I've always loved that " let me dream of you"...there's something about that idea. ~s~

Well. Now that I'm back at school, I can finally get at - I think. Now's going to be a good time to meander round it, 'cause I've got NOTHING to do! :-D

~cracks up~

I'm amused! By this! (Actually I'm not just amused by it, it's giving me ideas, but...shhh....don't tell...)
And I SO see what you mean about the idiots on - I mean, what kind of brain do you need to have to write :
"It pretty much sux..... but you might wanna reasd it anywayz cuz its short. PLEASE REVIEW, BECAUSE I NEED SOME SELF ESTEEM FOR MY NEXT STORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This, by the way, was for a story called "When The Deftones Ran Out Of Milk". I mean...yah.
Hands up who's not reading it? OR reviewing it? ~waves hands~
~ggls~ Another summary effort : "rated R for serious plot thingy". ~laughs a lot~
I love Tee hee.
~Jewel "yay"~ (you have to hear it to appreciate it) It's a N/J "do you remember the first time?" story! Oh dear...actually it's not too bad, but the grammar is pretty much shot. Oh well, mine gets lost along the way sometimes too. ~g~ ~rolls eyes~ Will everyone please learn - *please* - that it's spelled "come"? Thank you. ~shudders~ Well, that wrecked that one for me. ~s~ Poor Nick, reduced to such inelegance by an oversexed writer...
People wonder why I so dislike Mary-Sues. This is why :
Exhibit A : "After meeting a beautiful, yet terrifyingly evil woman, Nick's world is turned into an inescapable nightmare that alters reality and threatens his very existence."
Exhibit B : Two females out on the town meet Simon LeBon andNick Rhodes and proceed to be taken on a wild ride in theprocess. Its a tale of deception, mystique and debauchery"
Then again, I was pretty impressed by these summaries...~g~ :
"John and Nick find themselves in a very bizzare situation involving mannequins, severed limbs and large pieces of cutlery."
"Ugh ... I hate summaries ... Nick's in it ... there ... now read it!"

What more is there to say, after all? ~ggls~
Eeeeeee, Fred & Wes slash. No thanks! Eww.....

OH MY GOD! Someone's written Rufus Wainwright slash....~is ecstatic~ ~Jewel "yay"~
~is impressed, too~ : "A couple of lovers sat at a booth, holding hands across the table-top and talking in hushed voices as if anyone really gave a damn about what they were saying to each other." I like that.
Oh. Oh, it's sweet. Oh, it's *good*. Yay. ~s~
~baffled look~ Gorillaz slash? I mean...huh? *Eww*. Oh well...each to their own I suppose.

I'm also dancing in my chair to "The Joy Circuit". My GOD it's FANTASTIC! Music makes me so so happy...~smile~ It's just *so damn good*...oh my god...~cries~ it's AMAZING....~happysigh~

Chris, I miss you.

Thinking about it, I've probably put what I'd *like* to be for many of those, but it's difficult to think of them in any other way. I don't know. Everyone can write in with their suggestions for the correct answers if they really want.

I've got John Foxx on my CD player at the moment and it's very very exciting. I'm going to love this CD....god, it's so glamorous.

on another note...
What is wrong with me? My friend Odile has just come back from spending the day with her "man" (looks more like an ape to me, but then, I think Nick Rhodes is what a man should look like, so...) and is already crying out "I WANT SEX!!!" at an extraordinary volume. This same sentiment has been repeated many times this week among members of my peer group, so I finally rolled my eyes and asked Odile why everyone was so bothered about it and didn't want to just wait until next weekend or whenever. And she replied, "Because we all get that feeling where we just...need something inside us."
I take it I've missed something, since all I need inside me is music. ~shrug~ Mum said music was my equivalent of drugs - perhaps it's going to be That as well. I just don't seem to feel the same way as everyone else; maybe it's 'cause I do feel at least partly as though I should have been a man. ~confused~

We've got scanners! In Keswick! Now all I have to do is find out how to use them...

Anyway. I'm going to go see if the TV is free or if Tasha has returned.

'Tidal Wave', John Foxx - not actually the best, but hey.
(I've tried patience)

Please excuse me this...

~g~ I'm tired. OK?

And I would string you a dress in bejewelled raindrops, and paint a mirror in your heart that you might see how beautiful you are, silvered metal beating in your blood.

By the way, everyone has to go and listen to "The Real Life" by the excellently named Raven Maize. It's a trance track which mucks around with bits of Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody in a very cool way, and the video is mad...dancing schoolgrirls and dancing beefeaters and one bloke in the middle with a big head and a keyboard.

Chester Bennington needs relationship advice, everyone!
