The last seven days have featured, among other things, watching Brick with clockworkwasp, going with the wife to watch QI being filmed a couple of times (whence the quote in my title, which may never make it into the episode but is engraved on my mind as a mark of David Mitchell's genius. never mind), and being rescued by the lovely asrana and taken out for dinner and hugs and stuff. I have good friends.
I've been a little crazy this week, which is tiring and annoying, but everyone's been very patient; thank you. Anyway, last night the sanssommeil sat up and on our respective computers watched a movie we'd downloaded because it looked sort of shiny. This movie, in fact, and it was not only shiny but one of the most enjoyable things I've ever watched. Gloriously silly, yes. Notable for its pretty public-school-type boys with angelic haircuts? All right, yes. But also very lovely and better than a hundred other family comedies. I'm now trying to work out who else I can force into watching it.
I don't know. I'm finding it very hard to come up with anything to say at the moment; I aten't dead though, just hiding, for the most part. Oh, and downloading Eragon, I feel the need to mock Jeremy Irons again.
