No, but seriously. asrana and I watched the finale of Musicality last night, in which the remaining five people took the roles of Roxie, Velma, Mama Morton, Billy Flynn and $chorus_member in Chicago in the West End. My *god*, they were good. I've been watching their progress since the show started, of course, but I'd missed the one where we found out which five (of the remaining ten) it would be, so I was delighted to see that it was the five I'd been really hoping for. And. Oh, they were so good. asrana and I sat on the edge of our seats clapping wildly as if the TV could hear us.
Now, because he wasn't right for Billy Flynn, the only remaining part for Warren Sollars was as a chorus member, but they gave him a number of little things to do to let him shine, because he is the most fantastic performer. You can't take your eyes off him, almost no matter what else is going on on the stage. I am praying to my various gods that that boy gets a career based on this - he's an absolute natural. I want one. In a box.
Other than that we watched some of Evita and listened to music for a bit, and I love asrana very much. And this morning I walked her to the station and now I have to go and ring people because everyone at college is bloody disorganised and I don't know whether I need to go in in quarter of an hour or not.
Edit : To which the answer is 'no'. Good. In that case, I'm going back to sleep, or rather, 'to sleep', since I got about two hours' worth in total last night.
