This morning on the bus to work I was listening to my iPod when 'Europa And The Pirate Twins', my second favourite Thomas Dolby song, came along, and I thought, I haven't listened to this in ages - all right, then. The beginning of the song goes "I was fourteen; she was twelve. Father traveled - hers as well: Europa..." which is hardly great literature, but just as I mimed along to that first longing Europa a lorry pulled out of a side street and crossed the bus's path, and emblazoned along the side of it was the word "EUROPA", in capitals so I didn't miss the point. It doesn't take much to make me happy. The other week 'Get It On' came on just as I passed Bolans architects. :) All the small things.
