More reasons to be alive in 1983
As often happens, I am at katyha's watching a dubious musical. In this case it is a 1983 production of The Pirates Of Penzance with, among other things, Angela Lansbury as Ruth. And the occasional drifting towards 80s pop song rather than 20s musical, although not to the enormous extent of The Pirate Movie, obviously.
The guy playing Frederick is strangely pretty and unaccountably gay. Big pink billowy shirt and everything. The entire set is made from plastic. Possibly also the actors.
